Aged for 41 months in a single ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at 80 proof, Santo Tequila Extra Añejo is 100% additive free. Best enjoyed neat, Santo Tequila Extra Añejo is a true sipping tequila. The result of the extra aging is a spirit that is a deep amber color – reminiscent of lightly aged whiskeys. On the nose, it presents a combination of green apple, orange zest, and a hint of butterscotch. The front and full palate are earthy and sweet with notes of grilled sweet corn, bell pepper, citrus and caramel. The finish is a delightful tongue teaser with a subtle touch of coffee and chocolate.
